I am often asked in my line of work if I believe in ghosts and I have to say no, but I must explain why. It seems like an unbearable cruelty for a soul to be trapped in a place and time that is not there own indefinitely. The idea of that makes me broken-hearted. So, to that intent, I think I will keep my ghosts in the images of my art, but not let the people that inspired them feel any obligation to remain.
